Privacy Policy

Depending on the features you use, Recipti may handle:

• Account information, including your Sign in with Apple identifier, encrypted authentication token, and any name or email address Apple shares with us.
• Your email address, language preference, consent record, and signup time when you join the Recipti waitlist.
• Product identifiers, price history, receipt corrections, review decisions, and Copilot requests you choose to submit.
• Operational information needed to sync data, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and deliver notifications.

We use this information to scan and organize receipts on your device, build your product and price history, provide Copilot assistance, improve parsing accuracy, secure the service, respond to support requests, and send launch or early-access updates you requested.

Recipti does not sell your personal information and does not use it for cross-app advertising or tracking.

Scanned receipts are stored locally on your device. If you enable private iCloud sync, Apple stores that data in your private iCloud database. Saving a scanned receipt does not upload the full receipt or original image to Recipti.

Waitlist email addresses and consent records are stored in a dedicated Cloudflare D1 database. They are not combined with your receipt data.

Copilot and notifications send the information required for that feature to Recipti's service providers. If you separately opt in to community insights, the app sends independent product-price observations and per-product favorite signals. These community payloads do not include your account identity, receipt identifier, full basket, receipt image, OCR text, or exact purchase time.

We use infrastructure and specialized service providers to host data, deliver notifications, and process AI-assisted requests. They may process information only to provide services to Recipti and are subject to their own security and privacy obligations.

Recipti's website does not currently use advertising, analytics, or preference cookies. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technologies when required to deliver, secure, or protect the website.

We retain backend information while your account is active or while it is needed to provide a feature, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the service. You can delete individual receipts in the app.

You can permanently delete your Recipti account from Profile → Delete Account. Recipti revokes its Sign in with Apple token and removes account data, Copilot history, and notification data from Recipti's systems. Receipts stored only on your device or in your private iCloud remain under your control and can be deleted separately.

Anonymous community observations are intentionally not linked to an account, so they cannot be located through an account identifier. We retain them only as de-identified product and merchant facts and aggregate signals.

We retain an active waitlist record until launch communications are complete or you ask us to remove it. Contact support@recipti.com at any time to leave the waitlist and delete your email from it.

• You decide whether to grant camera, photo-library, microphone, speech-recognition, and notification permissions.
• You can disable private iCloud sync or anonymous community contribution from the app.
• You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us.
• You can leave the waitlist at any time by replying to a confirmation email or contacting support@recipti.com.
• You can manage or revoke Sign in with Apple access in your Apple Account settings.

Recipti is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as Recipti changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your choices.
