By downloading, installing, or using Recipti, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Recipti scans paper receipts, extracts merchants, items, prices, taxes, and totals using on-device text recognition, and helps you review, search, and track purchase and price history over time.

Recipti reads receipts using automated text recognition (OCR) and merchant-specific parsing logic. Recognition quality depends on things outside our control, including photo lighting, focus, glare, receipt condition (faded thermal paper, creases, tears), and how a specific retailer formats its receipts — including formats Recipti has never seen before.

As a result, Recipti does not guarantee that scanned items, prices, quantities, taxes, discounts, or totals are complete or error-free. Line items can occasionally be missed, merged, or misread. Recipti shows a review step before saving specifically so you can check and correct the result — please review scanned receipts before relying on them, and always keep your original paper or digital receipt for financial, warranty, tax, expense-reporting, or other important purposes.

Some connected features, including Copilot assistance, notifications, and permanent account deletion, require Sign in with Apple. Private iCloud sync uses the iCloud account configured on your device and does not require a separate Recipti sign-in. You are responsible for the accuracy of corrections you make and for keeping your device and accounts secure.

You retain ownership of the receipt content you scan. You grant Recipti the limited right to process that content solely to provide the features you use, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Please don't use Recipti to violate the law, infringe others' rights, interfere with the service, or attempt to access data that isn't yours. We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these terms.

Recipti is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the retailers whose names may appear on scanned receipts. Retailer names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the source of a receipt.

Recipti is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that price history, community observations, or Copilot responses are accurate or current.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recipti and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made based on scanned or estimated data. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

We may update these terms as Recipti changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change is material. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
